The Detroit Lions are bringing back linebacker Joe Bachie to the active roster, signing him off the practice squad.

The Michigan State product brings NFL experience, linebacker depth and special teams ability to Detroit heading into Week 1 against the Saints.

Bachie appeared in 10 games for the Tennessee Titans last season after beginning the year with the Indianapolis Colts, recording 29 tackles.

Another familiar face on the 53-man roster.
