The Atlanta Braves have claimed RHP Ricky Vanasco off waivers from the Detroit Tigers. Vanasco, 27, was designated for assignment by Detroit earlier this week after the Tigers signed Tyler Kinley. He'll join the Braves organization and be optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett. Vanasco posted a 2.53 ERA with 59 strikeouts in 46.1 innings at Triple-A Toledo this season.
