Could the Detroit Lions be a potential destination for one of the NFL's rising young cornerbacks?

CBS Sports has identified Detroit as a top landing spot for Patriots CB Christian Gonzalez if New England were to make him available via trade.

Gonzalez, a former first-round pick, would give the Lions another high-end talent in the secondary alongside their young defensive core.

A trade would likely come with a hefty price tag, but if the Patriots actually put Gonzalez on the market, Detroit could be a team worth watching.
